The Apple iPhone was officially announced by Apple CEO Steve Jobs during his speech at the Macworld Expo in early 2007.
The iPhone is Apple's first step in the mobile phone industry, boasting vast multimedia features like a camera, media player and a wide range of Internet services - the iPhone is highly anticipated.
With a scheduled release date of U.S. June 2007 (other regions not yet confirmed), the phone will be available in two models. The first is a retail model 4 GB U.S. $ 499 and his older brother retail trade 8 GB model in the U.S. $ 599.
For you a day in the Apple iPhone here's a guide to the hardware, software and features of this new product from Apple has to offer.

Features:
The iPhone has a large 3.5-inch touch screen designed specifically for use with hands (the touch screen is based on the skin so the need for a stylus just is not there). Text entry of the iPhone uses a virtual keyboard that allows users to quickly and easily input their desired text. As expected the virtual keyboard has all the features you would expect, auto spell checking, predictive text, dictionary, etc.
A key feature of navigation and functionality of the iPhone is the scrolling function. As with the iPod scroll wheel the movement allows you to quickly and easily move through the menus, the wheel can be "rotated" by sliding a finger across the screen - the faster the 'spin' the quicker menu item or browse through.
Features:
As expected the iPhone has all the usual features you expect from any standard mobile phone, including conferences, call waiting, call merging, caller ID, email and everything else.
The iPhone also includes a 2 mega pixel built in camera that lets you record and capture video and still images with the software and transfer these to your PC or Mac
The most attractive feature of the iPhone is that it is the incorporation of its big brother the iPod MP3 player. As in the 5th generation of iPods the iPhone can handle video playback and a music library.
Online:
The iPhone also has online capabilities, due to its integrated Wi-Fi technology. With the help of a wireless network that the iPhone can display full web pages with the Safari browser rather than simplified WAP style pages. Just as Internet browsing, the iPhone is able to send and receive email, thanks to its HTML email application.
Operating system:
According to Apple an optimized (lighter) version of the popular operating system Mac OS X will have no problem with the iPhone, but have not gone so far in any detail on this, nor was the process of an official explanation.
Apple has said in the past that OS updates for the iPhone will be very smooth and work in a manner similar to the iPod and Mac OS X updates. Like the Apple OS X Dashboard Widgets revealed the iPhone support number, for example, stocks and shares and time modules.
Miscellaneous features:
As expected the iPhone has a built-in non-replaceable battery unit like the iPod and is able to provide up to 5 hours of video playback, voice calls and surf the web. Music playback is around 16 hours mark.
At the end of the day, the iPhone will be useful for those who will use their features. Blackberry market with ever-increasing market and continued growth in iPods, I think the product that Apple is offering will be collected and valued by a wide range of people. Converge practice together and fashion, which is a very difficult thing to do. Could be a great investment, but if you plan to use the iPhone is an excellent value and good investment that you will be spinning throughout the day for entertainment, information and much more.
